Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Kurds captured Saddam

Was reading the Drudge report this morning and there are 2 storys reporting that the Kurds captured Saddam, drugged him and told the US where to find him. I hope this isnt true. The Bush administration will have egg all over their face. The dummycrats and the BBC will have a feild day if this pans out to be true.

If this is the case, then why not tell the truth in the first place. Getting Saddam is a victory no matter how it went down, but to emmbelish the capture, leaving out that the Kurds actually got him just gives fuel to Bush's enemy's.

I agree with your post.

It seems to me that they would have just handed him to us. Also, they wouldn't have left his pistol strapped to his side. In any case, there's no doubt we were tipped to specifically look for a secret underground "spider hole." The dumbacrats have been critical of Bush for not finding Saddam, but anyone who has seen the false "brick" disguising the entranceway can tell that someone can hide out for years without being discovered, less betraying intelligence, of course. When you consider that WMD that can kill everyone in a big city can be hidden in an area as small as that spider hole of Saddam's, it would not be wise to bet against eventually finding WMD though we haven't yet. But I digress...

Whatever the truth about the capture, I hope it comes out, and Bush does not have egg on his face!

I just got done reading that on drudge too.

I can prove without a doubt that is is false though, I saw a video of him alive in captivity. If the Kurds would have been the ones to find him, the american troops would have just found a blood trail and some hair.

The first media account of the December 13 arrest was aired by a Tehran-based news agency.

Media accounts coming out of Tehran, Al-Jazeera, or Los Angeles ain't worth a bucket of warm spit. I'll believe it when credible sources tell me it's true.

I agree with Jorgy, if the Kurds would have gotten him first there wouldn't be enough left to do DNA testing.
Also, IMO the Bush Administration is big enough to give credit where due.
