Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

I suppose you would rather have things the way they were before the war.

Do you belong to the Dean camp by any chance? If not you would fit right in.

Bush NEVER used the phrase "imminent threat."

Saddam did commit GENOCIDE by gassing kurds-- the gas is a WMD.

Saddam was required to prove to the UN that his WMD's were destroyed, and he did not.

The best intelligence (which was crippled by the Clinton administration) confirmed the existence of WMD's.

WMD's were not the only reason for going to war.

This "news" story is like Swiss Cheese -- Full of holes and originating in Europe.

We gave him the stuff to make the gas.He sure did why didn't we do anything about then? These are the same Kurds we told to revolt and we would back them up right?

What I don't understand is this. Hussein was a war criminal at the end of the Iraq and Iran war. We had evidence of him gassing the Iranian troops. He was a war criminal at the end of the first Gulf War. Why didn't we kick him out then? Don't try and blame it on the UN because we all know we'll do what we want.

Typical Liberal logic: Shame on Bush (senior) for not invading Iraq. Shame on Bush (junior) for invading Iraq.

We gave them the stuff to make the gas, maybe, but we didn't kill the Kurds. Didn't back up the Kurd's revolt? Nope, and it is a huge and admitted mistake. However, that does not mean anything when it comes to determining whether to go to war or not.

Hip's little artical here impies that the WMD portion of Bush's decision to go to war was invalid. To the best logic and information at the time, it was not invalid. The Iraqis had ample opportunity to avoid war, if they were as innocent as the leftists want us to now believe.

Finally, are Iraqi citezens better of now? I dare you to say, "no."

Don't give this BS about being a liberal. I'm no liberal.

I just think we should have taken care of this mess along time ago.

Everyone is talking about him being a War criminal. He was a war criminal when Rumsfield was shaking his hand.

Would the people of Iraq been better off now if we had smacked Hussein 12 years ago? I double dare you to say no.

I love it you don't agree with everything this adminstration does so I must be a liberal.
