Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default RE: A Rock in Iowa

I did a little searching and it seems that this boulder and the artwork on it are becoming somewhat famous.

The boulder mural was painted by a 24 year guy named Ray "Bubba" Sorensen II, no living in Des Moines, IA. It is located just north of Greenfield, Iowa not too far south of Interstate 80.

Apparently he started painting patriotic murals on this rock every Memorial Day starting 5 years ago after seeing "Saving Private Ryan". He repaints a new mural with different images every year.

If you do a search for "Ray Sorensen II" you'll get several websites that have pictures of the current and past year murals as well as information on the artist.

This is one artist that definately has his head screwed on straight, IMO.
