Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Apple Pie Awards

Check this link to see how your representative voted on this very importnat piece of legislation. The million moron march give the ones that voted nay on this issue an apple pie award. Heres their quote.

"Million Mom March salutes the 140 Members of the House of Representatives who stood up for gun violence victims and voted against H.R. 1036, legislation that would give gun and ammunition manufacturers, sellers, and even trade associations broad and unprecedented legal immunity. This outrageous bill will also give these businesses special treatment that no other industry enjoys, unfairly take away the rights of gun violence victims, and eliminate vital incentives for the industry to eliminate dangers in the distribution and design of its products. Although the legislation passed the House, we can and must defeat it in the Senate (the Senate bill is S. 659).

It is with great admiration that we bestow Apple Pie Awards to the following members of the House of Representatives who stood for what is right! We encourage our members and supporters to thank these courageous and responsible legislators."

I see that Gephardt didn't vote on this one.

I'm sure he was on the way to the Capitol in his limo........ and traffic suddenly came to a halt....pure bedlam, police everywhere, an object appeared out of the sky. Yup, it landed in the road and these little green men emerged saying "Take me to your leader". Dick tried in vain to find Ted Kennedy who was laid up drunk with a cute little number so he found Bill Clinton who was laid up with an ugly big number. So then he borrowed one Clinton had in the waiting room and forgot about the vote. Yessir....I think that is what happened.
