Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Classic Ignorance

http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/...y-killed_x.htm

MILLERS CREEK, N.C. (AP) "” A woman's 400-pound Bengal tiger fatally mauled her 10-year-old nephew after pulling him under a fence and into his cage, authorities said.
The boy, Clayton James Eller, was shoveling snow Sunday afternoon near the tiger's cage, an enclosure made of chain link fence that had an opening at the bottom so the family's dog could go in and play, officials said.

"This little boy got too close, and it pulled him under the fence," Coroner Howard Laney said.

The boy's uncle, James Marshall Eller, heard Clayton scream and saw it dragging the boy into its cage. Sheriff Dane Mastin said Eller tried in vain to to get the tiger off the boy, then ran and got his gun and shot the tiger to death. But it was too late to save the boy.

The boy's mother, Angela Eller, had left the boy in the care of her sister Ruth Bynum, the tiger's owner, while she went to work, Mastin said. James Eller is the brother of the two women.

Mastin said he wasn't aware of any previous complaints about the tiger.

Why in the world would you want to keep a 400 pound tiger anyway ? Man eaters, always have been, always will be, never to be trusted, unpredictable ... sad, sad ......

You took the words right out of my mouth. You keep an animal like that you are just asking for trouble. I bet there is going to be some very stressfull Chrismases to come in this family.

Look, lots of dangerous animals have been trained not to hurt people. But even the most highly trained, wild animals should not be around kids without tons of controls and safeguards. Other dangerous animals have been domesticated. Dogs were wild and dangerous once. But that kind of domestication takes generations to achieve. I do not quite think tigers are there yet. It's such a tragedy. People should use their heads.

In a word.....Idiots! Even large domesticated animals can, and do, present quite a threat. I would venture a wager that the average barnyard bull kills more people in the United States than any other animal. That is the problem with "idiots" watching and believing the nonsense of TV and movies. (And sad to say we have nearly two or three generations that actually believe that c**p!)

Yeah, yeah, we all know....Bambi and Thumper remained good friends and had many thoughtful conversations throughout their lives. (Which by the way came to an end when they each "died peacefully" in the wild!)

It is a shame it was the nephew......not the aunt. At least then you could have claimed Darwinism at its finest!

I really don't know why people think they can tame wild animals. It just doesn't work and is rather stupid.

They still are lol- well maybe notso wild( some of them)-makes it worse with no fear of man)

Like Ak said those ppl like many have a idea life is like some big disney movie, gentle ben, simba, lion king, etc etc

Those ppl with the tiger are a danger to the comminity & there own family- obviously.
Now if the poor 10yr kid had been suspected of using/possessing drugs & had a gun pointed at his head- for his own welfare- he could be alive today? or at least his death less terrorfying& painfull.

Hard to believe they had any kind of opening for a freakin tiger to reach through. It's even harder to believe they would let a kid get anywhere near that cage. Some people just don't get it.

I hate to break the news to you, Bambi went impotent, leading to a long self
loathing addict. He was found dead, face down in his own puke. Cause of death was an viagra over dose. He just couldnt seem to get over the fact Santa chose reindeer rather than whitetails. It is soon to be a E true story.[][][]

Thumper ended up as a dead beat dad. Fathering children with any rabbit in heat. He has been running from child support for years. No one knows his whereabouts...

Hey guys,

There really was a "happy" ending after all.

Bambi's family told the press how he was really a victim. After the "live at five" report...they received an out pouring of sympathy from all of those "with feelings". They found a team of "good" lawyers and sued Santa and the Mrs. and now own the North Pole!

They still haven't found Thumper.....but all the little Thumper Jr.s (and their mothers) are currently living in public funded "bunny burrows/hides" and are receiving "animal welfare".

So all is still well in "wonderland"!

P.S. Or is that disneyland?
