How did you feel this morning when you heard that Sadaam Hussein had been captured?

(I am borrowing this question from Bill O'Reilly.)

The answer will tell you a lot about yourself (and us).

Personally, I was proud. Proud of the US Army for an outstanding mission. Proud of our intelligence. Proud of our commitment as a country. Proud of those that believed we were on the right track. How did you feel?

At first...SURPRISED....then a big grin crept over my face.....I looked for confirmation and it didn't take long to get confirmation from Reutors and from my radio.....YIPPEE

At first I was in Shock!! Really didn't know what to think about it. The news really stopped reporting anything on his search adn then boom we have him. After I read all the articles I could I just think good, thats cool.

My first thought was: Great, somebody got a rope?

My second: Oh, boy...now the 9 bumbling jackasses are REALLY screwed!

My third: That it's a true testament to the training, discipline and professionalism that he's still alive and not full of 5.56mm holes and grenade fragments.

Maybe now the Iraqi's will accept that Saddam's reign is over and the Baathist resistance will lose steam and die out. We can only hope.

The rat was there all along - no wonder things we so hot when we went into tht town at other times.
Im very proud of our troops!!! i am alwaystoo everyday.

It dosnt mean its over , but it should help with some segments of the problem.

Even osmas death wouldnt do it i dont think - some might not agree but thats ok.

Its a multiheaded serpent. lotsa crazy moollahas etc still out there.

Hopely they wondt stick him(saddam) in some nice( special room) federal prison , cater to his relgious neads& special menus, while he smokes ciggars& listins to frank sanatra.

More then one way to skin a cat i guess- i wouldnt mind trying some things that could be evil maybe-on saddam/guess that makes me a person with evil thoughts?lol

torture can be many things.
it should last awhile.

After first having a feeling of pride in our military, I felt that it was a great mistake that he was captured, he should have been shot and it would all be over.

I am disapointed that he still breathes today. I have a bad feeling that the fact that he still lives means he will one day have some form of control in that country. hopefully an iraqi kills him soon. the longer he lives the more chance of problems.
