Who gets the $25 million reward?

None of the military members involved in his capture, as military personnel can't collect government bounties.

One of the reports I read said that it was one of Saddam's extended family members who ratted him out. They'll probably give it to him.

I think I saw in Fox News that his wife (one of his wives?) has been helping to track him down. Then again 25 million is chicken feed to her so whats the point?

I heard on the news this afternoon that the reward would likely not be given to anyone, due to the fact that the information they got in regard to Saddam's whereabouts came from someone they had arrested earlier and were interrogating. If so, the person didn't come forth willingly, which I guess makes him/her ineligible.
But that's just the report I heard. Who knows.

I sure wish I had known where he was. I'd have ratted him out the first day, well probably the first hour, and then drove them there free of charge.

I'm thinking that it should be given to some one or maby a group of people or even a community. We don't know how that culture will react if they found out that it's not given. Too many of them expect us to lie and this would just conferm that to them. Things are hard enough over there for us anyway. 25 mill is a drop in the bucket any way.
