This is a good thing.
The Iraqi people are celebrating and a heavy load of fear and doubt has been pushed aside. Freedom will have a chance to blossom now that the poison has been removed from the air and they no longer live in his shadow.
He's alive and maybe we'll get some useful information from him on a variety of subjects from WMD to the remains of his regime.
This is good for the Troops in the long run but there maybe some escalating violence in the near future as a reaction to his capture by his few supporters.
His trial may work as a uniting venture for the newly forming government in Iraq.
This also shows the doubting Thomas' that resolve pays off and we will have more support in the continuing War on Terrorism.
And this can not hurt Bush in the uncoming election.
PS, I heard the news on the way out for the last day I could hunt with my muzzleloader for Deer. I was planning to spend the entire morning in the field but I wanted to get home and listen to Bush so I left the woods early. So it's a good thing for some Deer.
