C'mon guys and gals ! Give me some abortion threads, some poor poor pitiful airline threads, something to do with Liberals or anything like that PLEASE ! This board might as well be dead for all the heated debates that are NOT happening.
Have we solved the worlds problems and everyone agrees with everyone now ? Has this Forum reached its potential and stagnated ?
I miss Gobbler and Hogguide, Static and Sixby and those people. Even posts by VC seem to have lost their punch ....
This forum or the Regular members of it have created this humdrum flatline pulse of our own doing. We have gravitated toward each others views and ideas to a degree. Yet, it is like a gathering of a polite family where people will bite their touge rather than offend or disagree with someone they want to deal with every day. I think that is in part to some of the flaming that some of us have done from time to time. When our level of logic or persuasive reasoning has been exhausted or the opposing debater is inflexible, we move on from the issue to the individual.
Therefore if one does not have a lock on the issue they fail to bring it up for debate. JMO
