Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

It doesn't surprize me at all...it is PETA after all.

What I just don't get about PETA is how stupid they are. They aren't going to convince many Christians, Catholics in particular, to become vegan with a billboard like that. Such a billboard is offensive and is creates anger not at the thought of killing chickens for food, but at PETA itself for defiling the sacred image of the virgin Mary and by transposing a dead chicken for the baby Jesus.

If the advertising staff that came up with this idea worked for any other company they'd have likely been fired for a billboard like that.

But look at the bright side, it's just one more time that the PETA freaks have shot themselves in the foot. I'm guessing that they won't get any favorable responses from the Catholic residents of Rhode Island that see that sign, now or in the future.

You know what they say...give 'em enough rope...

Just another step in the fake front they put up.
They own stock in Tyson Foods, Applebee's and many more.
A person would think that the people that support them would figure it out.
But thats asking alot from the type of people that do support them.

I was walking throuhg the student center today, and there was a booth about PETA. They were showing a video of animal testing. It was bs. They were showing someone taking a cutting tourch to a cow, wearing welding gear?? It was crappy tape, looked like they had "made" it.

I didn't talk to them, have to go back on campus, but I will go argure with them. They also had a bilboard about stopping drug testing on chimps...

But didn't you know that cutting through cows with a cutting torch creates the same blinding sparks 'cause cows are made out of steel and they feel pain just like us?! Like, DUH! [:@]

I used to work in research taking care of the research animals at the University of Iowa, and I can personally attest to the fact that the animals are treated (BY LAW) better than the employees. In fact to be accredited we had to comply with standards far greater than those dictated by federal law. If it weren't for biomedical research involving animals our state of medicine today would likely be comparable to what it was in the late 1800's.

Leeches anyone?

They are a bunch of wacko's - that billboard is actually tame compared to the one in Spokane.... It is a picture of Santa Clause pulling out his pants and looking down them with the tag "Santa won't be coming this year - Milk makes you impetent soy does not"

I find this amusing!!! Milk = Impotence?!?!??!?!??!?!?! I personally know one man that drinks milk like his life depends on it and he has TWELVE kids!!!! They are one AWESOME and well behaved family too!

I will shoulder my burden as a sportman and do my duty to refute their (PETA) Santa statement. Our family (Dad & Mom, and four boys) drinks/uses 60-80 gallons of milk per month. Yes, per MONTH! According to PETA's statement I must be more impotent than a 26 year old Oscar Meyer weiner. Now remember, I'm doing this just for the sake of sportsman around the world. I challenge PETA to find a pretty PETA-supporter and we'll see if I'm impotent!! Now finding a pretty PETA girl may be tough. Most PETA folks look like war refuges with one exception... Rosie O'donut!

Now remember, this would be for research purposes only and done as my duty to sportsman everywhere!

It's not the first time these types have tried "sexual performance" type propaganda. Men aren't so susceptible to the don't hurt the cute little bunny stuff.

I remember about 15 years back there was some newspaper ad of a picture of a kid with "tiny penis" on his t shirt. Reason I remember it so well was a kid that worked with us looked very similar to the one in the ad......you can guess the rest!!!!
