It' s been blowing pretty good here also. Gusts in excess of sixty miles an hour starting about one AM last night.
There was some six inches of rain here yesterday also.
The creeks and rivers are pretty well swollen over so there is the occasional hunter stuck on the " other" side.
Me and everyone I was with filled our tags on monday and after spending most of tuesday putting it all in freezer wrap, we opted out of dancing in the rain on wednesday. It' s a good thing too...the wind has not slacked off even a little here. The windows in my house are quite litterally " whistling" as I write this. There is no snow on the ground, but I don' t think it' s for lack of trying,,,there is plenty of it swirling around in little mini-tornadoes in the yard.
Tomorrow promises to be a great day despite the twenty degree temperatures. the wind is supposed to die down and the sun is gonna come out. This is quite litterally gonna be a banner year for hunting in my area...EVERYONE is killing deer.
