Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

I didn"™t see it, and didn"™t care too. I feel there were many more who should
have a move made about them. I believe Jessica was not the only person
saved in that maneuvers. I dont like all the hype placed on one soldier.

I dont know the whole story, so someone clue me in if im wrong, but isn"™t the
only thing Jessica did was to get hurt and captured. I dont think that makes
a person a hero. I would rather see a move about someone who risked their
life saving children, families, other soldier, etc. etc.. I know she was risking
her life by being in the military, but so are all the other soldiers.

Didn' t watch the sunday night movie or the thing last night on TV with her. I think the whole thing stinks and she isn' t getting any of my time. I' m not just bagging on her either, the government shot this load of crap at us, but atleast I realized it was all a lie the first time I read it.

There were heros here, the Iraqi who risked his life, I admire him, and the guys who went on the mission to get her back.

She is getting alot of attention because she simply is a woman. I hope I don' t step on any toes by saying this. A girl joins the military, she gets severely injured, then she is captured and later on is rescued. That' s one heck of a story line right there. This kind of stuff tugs at the american heart.
I watched a special on t.v. the other night and it showed alot of our men fighting for our freedom over in Iraq. The down side to this was that they were showing these men in the burn unit in a military hospital. Some had lost arms and legs from grenades while the rest of their body was covered in burns. It wasn' t a pretty site to see and it laid out a pretty dramatic scene. These guys will neve be the same both mentally and physically. God Bless ' Em.

in my opinion all our men and woman who where captured are heroes an deserve the same recognition as jessica secondly the thing about her that really gets me is she was mad at the iraqi who put HIS LIFE and his families lives on the line by helping our troops to save her, why is she any better than him an why should she be pissed that he was offered a movie deal as well as a book deal she wouldnt even meet with the man from what i heard on the news, now you all tell me who is being petty and childish here. jessica was wounded and captured yes but she did sign her name on the dotted line it was her job period. an now the country is going to make her a star this isnt right and i for 1 am not going to buy into this travisty of injustice to the other men and woman who put there lives on the line for the same reasons she did, makes me kinda wonder was her life the only american life worth anything over there.. well my 2cents worth,,,,,,,,

Well Hip I watched and was impressed, I think she did a fine job of telling what happened. By what I can see by these other post no one took the time to listen to her.

First SHE SAID she does not think she is a hero

Secound SHE SAID she thinks that those other folks that were with her were the hero' s, plus all of the other men/women that are serving and have served.

Third She doesn' t remember the Iraq that was suppose to have saved her

Fourth they interviewed some of the Iraqi nurses that worked on her and THEY said this guy is a shady character.(the Iraqi)

There was alot more to the interview.

With all of that said Yes I do believe are media has put to much attention on her, but after seeing her and listening to her I have a very high respect for that young lady. Be mad at the media, be mad at the government, but until you have heard what she has to say don' t be mad at her......................

Im glad the girl is OK. She owes her life to that Iraqi gentlemen, scum bag or not, and all the combat soldiers that put themselves in harms way to save her.
Didn' t see the show and don' t care to.
I would like to learn more about the fellows in the unit that fought to the death, the blond ( recently ID as a Man, not jessica) that fired until his ammo was gone and then was stabbed and shot to death. And the fellow in the unit who was credited with nine KIAs and taking out a mortor by himself during the same ambush.
There are a lot of soldiers there then and now who saw action, fought hard and often and I' d like to hear their stories. I want to know more about the heros that saved this girls behind from a hospital bed in an area occuppied by the enemy.

What' s the story with her and these nude pictures taken prior to all this with a bunch of guys???

Logs she mentioned has many of her fellow soldiers as she had time for. She did try to tell there story and said they diserve more then she does. As far as this guy (who our media hyped up)goes, I don' t know the whole story, but he may not be the hero we were all led to believe. Wow that' ll be something new, our government and media lie to us[>:]. It will be interesting to find out the truth about this guy, and if he really did all the heroic stuff he claimed?????? This will be the million dollar question. Oh I' m not taking my info from Jessica she said she doesn' t remember him at all, I' m taking the info from the Iraqi nurses that called this guy a fraud[]

I' ve heard different things about the topless photo' s, time will tell, quess will have to wait and see.

On another note if you folks can, try to catch a rerun of the interview I will bet you won' t be sorry. This interview just showed how much our media loves to bullsh** us and make story' s when there aren' t any...........

Didn' t watch it, Don' t care to. I personally don' t think the title of hero should be thrown around so liberally. I also think she was too quick to take all the money for book and movie deals. JMHO The media made her a hero and she is trying capitalize on it.
