I saw the post regarding Veterans below & I wanted to take the time out to also express my sincere appreciation to all of our Veterans out there who have lived & died for our freedom & liberty. We are blessed to have men & women who serve in such a mighty compacity. I salute each of you.
I also would like to take the time out to salute our fallen Confederate heros of days gone by. Those men & the women also made the ultimate sacrifice for our beloved Southland. I raise my glass to our Confederate heros.
Sweetwater, your fixing to start some you know what. I join you in honoring our veterans but maybe you should have gone to the ' south' forum to honor our other fallen heroes, the confederates. There are those here that feel confederate veterans are traitors to their county. I personally have nothing but respect for confederate veterans but maybe we should keep that within our southern borders. It' s hard enough to get along with yankees without doing this.[:-]
I hope nobody takes this as a racial statement having to do with slavery.

Ok, the Civil War was not solely about slavery and we all know it. I am from Colorado, damn proud of it, and I like small federal government and states rights. Here' s to all of our Veterans, including our Confederate Veterans. Never did understand how " yall" could love a place with so much humidity though...... Oh boy, here we go!! Totally kidding guys, God bless our veterans.
All Veterans who served honorably deserve the respect of those he served regardless of Country or end result of the conflict.
