Another JFK Documentary

Fox is doing a show on the 18th about the JFK assassination, two days before ABC.

I bet the folks at ABC are fuming.

Will be interesting to compare the two shows.

Maybe once we get through this stupid 40th anniversary crap we can stop hearing about a guy that would arguably have been one of our WORST presidents had he not been assasinated.

Sure, he did some great things with civil rights, but he left us mired in Vietnam and I don' t think I need to bother to mention the Bay of Pigs, Cuban missile crisis, etc. Why does everyone think this overpriveledged jerk was so great?

The way I remember things is that the Cuban Missle Crisis is the only thing he did right.
I know there are a lot of people that would like to just forget about JFK. But to alot of us that were alive and remember it, we would like to know the truth.
Not some story that anyone with any reasoning would not believe.

His comment on dealing with the Cuban missile crisis said alot about his priorities.

I' m not a big Kennedy fan or anything, but from what I have read, and from my understanding of the situation, Kennedy saved our asses from a nuclear war during the crisis. Not from the Russians, but from our own military official wanting to bomb Russia over the missles in Cuba. I' ll give him credit for that!

Jorgy, you may be right - I don' t know as much about the CMC as I should - probably shouldn' t have included it in my list of dubious JFK achievments.
