Well my sons last Youth League football game was Saturday. His team went 8-0 and unscored on. My son played 5 different positions on offence and 3 on deffense.He played fullback and defensive guard most of the time. At his team party , we went to Hooters, he was voted Best all around player,by his coaches. He only scored three touch downs this year,lead blocking is what he' s takes alot of pride in. He scored one touchdown and two extra points on Saturday, after the game he wants to know if I saw the blocks he made during the game, he had a few pancakes.

He also won the league' s Fuscetti award it' s named after a gentlemen that has been the equipment guy for 29 years. The award isn' t for the best player in the league it' s awarded to a kid that is a team player and goes out of his way to be a good person and shows sportsmenship. That' s what I' m so proud about.

He stopped playing baseball this year cause he' d rather hunt Turkeys.[8D] Yesterday he shot his bow most of the afternoon. He' s a great kid !!

Sounds like you have every right to be proud!!! Glad that he figured out that hunting turkeys (or anything else for that matter) is much more rewarding than playing with a ball.LOL

Nothing will keep you more content in later years than to know you did a good job with the kids.
