Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

You would have been very happy in the 60' s and early 70' s but I' d guess you either were not born yet or still pooping in you pants about then.
I always find it interesting that some people think they know what others think, why they do things and that people in authority are always up to something strickly for themselves. Is it envy, I hate my father syndrome or just wanting to have people listen to them?
Bush has been all over the place, Military bases and the news in general. He hasn' t been hidding from anyone.
As far as these young men and women serving and giving their all for this war, they are doing what many others did before them so we can live at home in peace. If you can not understand by now that these actions, costly as they are are slowing terrorism and chipping away at terrorisms resources, you are a lost cause.
They are being recognized for their sacrifice by millions of people including Bush and this administration.

Not to mention the fact that he is kind of busy fighting two wars, dealing with a Clinton-initiated recession, etc... But, that' s your opinion and I will accept it, for now.....[>:]

Ah yes, those halcyon days of yesteryear, folks we called Hip and Hippy or Hippie or flower children were spitting on me and my brothers as we returned from where ever it was we happened to be sent.
Nobody, especially anybody that was ' Hip" , gave a damn where we had been, what we had seen or what we had done. We were baby killers. Anybody " Hip" with the tie died shirts and their chicken track jewelery was more than happy to see the body bags and coffins coming in to Andrews, it gave them one more thing to feel superior about. I don' t give a damn if another President ever pins the ruptured duck on another coffin or presents another Bronze Star Medal to a grieving mother or spouse. I am mightily sick of liberals though and their superior attitude and condescending remarks when it comes to good men.

Hip, it comments such as these....
Quote:
Georgie has banned any news coverage by the press on our boys and girls returning home in caskets or bags from any base. He wants everybody to think everything in Iraq is rosie, he really wishes he could ban any reporting of any casualities at all but the press does have some freedoms, he is working on that I bet as we speak. These kids are giving up their lives so his and dickhe%# cheney' s pansy ass friends can make a buck supplying arms and weapons, then rebuilding.
that would cause anyone regardless of political belief that you are a 60' s wanta be.
You are not that old or you have lied in other post. You may have been born in the very late 50' s and but Im quessing the early 60' s.
Im not trying to get in your head, Im trying to figure out what is in your head.
You have a right to your opinion but you state it as fact as above and it isn' t.
I don' t know a single person nor have I heard a single person who I know to have supported this movement by Bush in the Middle East that has changed their opinion.
Now in the last month I have been to and spoken to people in ID, WY, CO, NE, Iowa, MN. IL and around WI about what is going on since the freeing of Iraq. Yes all those I have spoken to believe that the continuing loss of American lives is a great cost to pay but they also understand how important the continued action is to our safety at home as a Nation.
I did not ask these people who they voted for but all of them indicated they support Bush in these actions.
Now if you want to go around beating you chest or whipping yourself in protest for those who enlisted and choose to fight for their country go ahead but don' t try to drag everyone down with you.
If I recall you never felt it was important enough of you to give of yourself and serve in the US Military. Is that the reason you are so outspoken on these issues, guilt ?
It may be hard for you to understand but good men and women step up to the call to serve and respect those who lead them. They know their sacrifice is appreciated by others who went before them and who support them at home. Then there are those other people who just make noise, never lead nor follow just cry out from the shadows poor lost souls, empty vessels, ringing hollow and flat in desperation to be noticed.
