Boy the Democratic media is really going over the edge on this one. In case you haven' t heard, in next month' s miniseries on Ronald Reagan, the movie has him saying to his wife about gay people and AIDS, " They live in sin, they can die in sin." The fact is, he never said that. In fact, even the source of the line admits he never said it. AIDS spending increased under Reagan.
It would be one thing if it was a fictitious character. But when you tell a story of a real person' s life and have them say something that is completely untrue to try and scar his legacy, that is unacceptable! Most of the public will undoubtedly assume that he actually said that. The Democrats making the movie couldn' t use facts to try bringing down Ronald Reagan, so they made up lies and are trying to rewrite history to do it. Despicable!

Not to mention they guy is unable to defend himself. [X(]
I expect a feable attempt at accurately portraying him, like the Nixon movie. When the public sees a movie on someone' s life, they assume it depicts actual events. This movie apparently even suggests Reagan supported SDI based on a 1940 movie he was in, which also isn' t true at all. Simply put, the Reagan movie was made to smear his legacy. Can you imagine the possible backlash if he were to die soon after or before this false smearing campaign were to air? Can you imagine the media backlash if a Kennedy movie came out where he turns to his aids after speaking with Martin Luther King and says " Don' t invite him back, he' s black?" That is how hateful the false Reagan rhetoric against gays is, but the producers of the Reagan movie wear the hat with the donkey on it, so it' s ok.
Puff a pickle , catch a bug I always say . I don' t feel sorry for them , studies of gay men show that they still practice the same bad habits that they did in the 80s .

i caught a piece on this on scarborough country the other night , and this movie is nothing but one big lie and smear on just about one of the greatest presidents this nation ever had , the producer of this movie is a diehard liberal who was doing work on comparing post 9/11 america to hitler regime ( or something close to that ) ,
i' de love to see somebody make a true to life movie like this about the clinton years , they wouldn' t have to distort anything to make him look bad hell , they' de probably have to edit half of it out to get an R-17 rating , for sexual situations and violence
Was listening to the Limbaugh show today. The host of the show quoted the writer of the Reagan movie- she said something along the lines of that she knew that Reagan didn' t say that but but wrote the script to fit her impression or Reagan.
Can anyone say Defamation suit?
