Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Which one was a terroist attack?

Israeli warplanes and helicopters pounded Palestinian targets in the Gaza Strip on Monday, killing 11 people, including eight in a refugee camp where a car was bombed. One missile exploded on a street crowded with schoolchildren, wounding four of them.

gunmen ambushed an Israeli Army patrol in a West Bank town Sunday, killing three soldiers, Israeli security officials and rescue services said. It was the most serious attack in the area in months.
.
The assault came a few hours after Palestinians in Gaza fired rockets at Israeli towns, and Israeli forces wound up a phase of a wide-ranging operation in a Palestinian refugee camp on the Egyptian border that left 14 Palestinians dead and, relief workers said, more than 1,200 homeless.

Another story I found on MSN yesterday.

It would be hard to plan a more perfect challenge to a democracy than the one handed Israel in late September by 27 fighter and helicopter pilots. In an open letter, they expressed anguish over the scores of Palestinian civilians (including many children) killed or maimed as a byproduct of " targeted" attacks on senior members of Hamas and other terror groups"”especially in densely populated Gaza, which Israeli ground troops are generally reluctant to enter. The pilots announced they would fly such missions no more. " These acts," the letter said, " are illegal and immoral and are a direct result of the ongoing occupation that corrupts all of Israeli society." The men, most veteran reservists, nine still on active duty, are members of a high military caste"”one is a brigadier general who took part in the celebrated attack against Iraq' s nuclear facilities in 1981.

If civilians are targeted it terrorism. If military targets are hit its war. In this case I quess they were both acts of war. There is plenty of right and wrong happening on both sides. IMO.

All I know is that this crap has been going on for quite some time( 2,000 plus years) and it doesnt look like it will stop anytime soon. I side with Israel for one reason only and that is Palestineans arent doing anything to stop this. They have had 2 prime ministers resign due to pressure from arafat. Secondly Palestine isnt helping get rid of Hamas or other terrorists. I know Israel would love to bomb the hell out of palestine and get hamas and then syria. There has been some talk of Israel doing a pre-emptive attack on palestinieans and possibly but bush has to agree for that to happen. Israel should not escalate the problem because then a ww III will break out over the whole region which i think we are on track to doing. But i would like to get the North Korea situation covered because it would be easier to handle the situation in the middle east.

Israel targets militants, and wounds/kills civilians
Palestinians target civilians, and wound/kill civilians

if the street was actually crowded with kids the missile must have been a " souped up" bottle rocket.

Speaking of terrorism-
1. which side was laughing and dancing in the street after 9/11?
2. Which side was having candlelight prayer vigils after 9/11?

nuff said.
