Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

The thing that i hate about lists like this is that there is no reason shown why people are on it. My reasons for thinking someone is anti-american is probably different from your reasons why someone is anti-american.

The whole thing about anti-war, what moron isn' t anti-war?

There are many more. I hate to say it but you must add Harrison Ford to the list. There is nothing wrong with being anti war but many of these fags don' t support the troops either. Anti gun is anti constitution therefore anti American. Many of these hippogrits have made a living doing violent movies with guns. Micheal Douglas come to mind right away. Maybe we could move tensil town down to CUBA. They would fit right in and most of them are pro castro as well. They deserve each other.

Jorgy, you are right, only a moron would be " Pro-war" there are however times when events dictate that a nation must go to war or cease to exist as a nation. This is just as sure as there are times when we must take a stand to protect our families and loved ones from those that would do them harm. You know and understand that though and I say it only to insure that the remainder of what I have to write has some context.
The people on these lists, are for the most part, highschool dropouts, drunks, liars, cheats and all around cads. (a word which has fallen into disuse lately) The reason they are " Famous" is because they are easy to look at, good to listen to (Music) emote well, and have great stage presence. They add nothing to society overall other than they do provide jobs to a great number of technicians, electricians, cameramen and etc. These same jobs could/would be provided if it were Joe Blow instead of Sean Penn on the set. (and if Sean Penn dropped dead tomorrow, he would be replaced the next day) They are egotistical and self centered to the highest degree and this is fostered by an element of our public which allow them this privelege.
They are so accustomed to having their every whim catered to that they have come to believe that it is their right and if they say anything, those words deserve public acclaim. If you or I were to achieve the same notoriety, we would have to commit an axe murder to the extent of wiping out a convent of six year old Nuns.
This is why lists of the sort in the original post are important. They allow a perspective not otherwise attainable by those of us amongst the great unwashed.

Hey Coastie, I' m glad that you understood my " anti-war" bit, not many people do.

And I agree with you what you said about the general " celebraties"

I do however think that we should be careful labeling people anit-american, when being american means you can say whatever you want. Being anti-gun too, that isn' t anti-american, people can have there idea' s, even if they are wrong. It' s when people take real steps into taking our rights away that I will throw a hissy-fit and will start labeling people.

If being anti-american means that you bash the president and his policies, I' m the biggest anti-american there is since I bash Clinton whenever the chance arises.

Being Anti-American means being against all of those things that make America and being American something wortwhile. It means speaking out against all of those ideals that have brought us to this point in history. Individual accomplishment and pride. The ability to do things meaningful ourselves without the medling of some government beaureucrat (sp?) Making decisions for our families and then either reaping the benefits of having made those decisions or living with the result if it wasn' t such a good plan. Being American means having the opportunity to fail, or suceed regardless of who you are or where you came from or how much wealth your family may or may not have. These principles do still exist, if they did not, the huge influx of migrants from all over the world would have stopped. People move from where they are to a better place, not a worse place or one in which they may only maintain the status quo.
These people have made their mark. They have their wealth, but they consider the average American to be too stupid to make decisions for themselves, they believe the only competent authority to do anything for most of us is more and bigger government.
It would be far more palatible, to me, if these people really did want to make their statements, if they did them only at home, the problem is that many of them wait until they are abroad amonsgt like minded liberals and socialists before they make their remarks.
We do have free speech in America, you may say anything you wish as long as it expresses your feelings and does not libel anybody else. There is a distinction there which must be thought out. Along with these freedoms we so proudly proclaim, there comes responsibility. Most folks don' t care to consider that part of it though, they want the right but don' t care to accept the responsibility that goes along with those rights. We, as hunters and gun owners understand that responsibility part probably far better than almost any other group here in America, or if we don' t, we should. For these reasons, I look down upon many if not all on these lists as they come out. A number of these people are not even born citizens of the USA, yet they have made millions working here and enjoy all of the rights and priveleges that go with it, yet they have no qualms at all with running us down. I say they can go pound sand.

Jorgy, No one likes war. Hell, I' m a Vet and I hope and prayed that Cooler Minds and Respect would be the right mind set. But, after 9/11/01, They brought the War to US. We gave peace a chance, Screw them all. I belive that after we get done in the Middleast, France is Next. Jorgy, you have a right to your opinon, as I do. But, when you say evil things against the people that Support your job, Your livelyhood, we are suppose to do what??? Bull****, These actors, singer' s and director need you and I to go and buy a ticket, CD or what ever. And after acting the way they did during the assults, do they really expect us to shower them in Money?
Jorgy, Here another thing to think about. You own a store. In the Newspapers you are quoted in saying that your customers smell really bad, they buy the crapest things and are the rudest people you ever met. How long do you think you will stay in business? Oh sure, you will have some people come in your store and buy things but, the masses of people will not because you just insulted them.
Actors, singers or folks like the ones on the list are no different then the store owner. We do not have to buy their movie tickets, CD' s or what ever.
