I got a " warrning of termination" today for questioning a " manager" (if you can call this dork that).

It was priceless, my idiot manager, his idiot manager and the head of H.R. all in an office area. Accusations flying.... the whole time i' m acting insane.. I LOVE IT.

I' m already emptying out my cube for the inevitable.

If you' ve never been there, you must trust me CUT MILITARY SPENDING. If it was apportioned correctly the soldiers would be taking Bentley' s™ into battle - contractors like Bechtel (yes, the same Bechtel that got a contract to build Afghanistan) are the worst drains in the food chain on earth.

Oh crap! I was cleaning my cube out all ready to instigate a verbal war when a manager I like approached me and asked what the hell I was doing. I told him the story.

he replied: " trust me, they CAN' T get rid of you - they' re just saber rattling" .

I figured out why. " we" bid such outrageous amounts on projects that they need every warm body on these accounts (it' s hard to get people to work here cause the place blows).

If they bid 1000 hours on a project and only burn up 500 hours completing it, they then have to give BACK to the main contractor 500hours X 125 dollars/hour for engineering time.

silly rip off artists.
