Good luck on your MRI CharlieP! Keep thinking POSITIVE!
For what it' s worth, my dad used to remind me of the old saying..." I felt sorry for myself having no shoes until I met a man that had no feet" I know times get hard but usually you can find a situation worse than your own. That has helped me and I passed it on to my kids.
My wifes the real trooper most woman would have left along time ago.
Hey, Charlie! She married you for better or worse, and apparently she' s a good one. There are worse things. A bad back is probably much worse for you than for her. My husband has degenerative disc disease. He has one disc completely gone, and another almost there. It' s really hard to watch him be in so much pain, but leaving would never enter my mind! I hope your MRI goes well. I' ll keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

The last fusion they went in from front and back in the same day. Not a good day.
I know there are alot of people worse off then me. I just read about that little girl getting burned on the other board. Made feel bad about feeling sorry for myself to be honest.
Thanks for the kind words, time to go.

What the hell did you do to your back ??? That has to absolutely suck, I have a buddy with chronic pain problems and he' s horizontal for about 3 days a week in pain.
Charlie, I wish they would come up with some miracle cures for them backs. I got a mess, too, 5 ruptured disc, spinal stenosis, spurs, etc. I took epederal steroids for about 3 years and they finally quit working. I was about to give in to surgery and my son talked me into seeing a acupunture guy. I was skeptical but this guy gave me a new lease on life. I have to go about once a month but I thank God I found him. It' s probably too late for you to try acupunture if you' ve already had the fusion. I hope and pray they come up with something to give you some relief.
