AMEN, dontcha just love to see liberals go down in flames? Ahhhnuld may not be the best thing to come along (but then again he may be, who knows he has yet to be tried!) but he certainly cant be any worse than the typical " tax & spend" Damocraps in there now. I only have one thing to say about Gray Davis tonight, I thought I was hearing things when during his concession speech he told the crowd (who was chanting RECALL RECALL RECALL) that it was time to put all that behind them and get on with putting CA first and supporting the new leader and getting on with the task at hand. If he truly meant it and wont do a 180 in the future, he has actually shown one iota of class throughout this entire ordeal.
If you are a govt employee in CA, you better be UPDATIN your resume!

I was glad to see a republican get it, but even more glad to see gray-out davis get shot down---esp after all the crap he pulled with the last minute claims of groping. If they were so upset by it more than 25 years ago, why wait until NOW to say something!
Good riddance davis!

For CalHunter, I am happy IF CALIFORNIA CAN BE SAVED. For Republicans, I am saddened because Arnold will be given little time to fix the impossible with a democratic legislature, and Republicans will catch the blame for California going down the toilet. I hope things can turn around, but fear the liberal spending machine is too firmly entrenched for the state to escape a severe financial situation. We may well have been better off if Davis was left to go down with the ship.
God I am glad I don' t live in California! Not that I am a Gray Davis fan but I just cannot see Arnie doing much good. Although I was not a Reagan fan........Ronnie had much more on the ball that Arnie.

Remember folks, Arnie is a moderate republican.
True, but at least he' s not Gray-out Davis or that fool Cruz Bustamonte![>:] Slowly, I think The People' s Republic of Kalifornia will turn around. It will be monumental task, but just hope Ahhhhnold doesn' t take much flak.
Man Coug, how can you not have liked Reagan? He was the best president we' ve had in my lifetime...that' s only about 4 presidents, but he was still a pretty darn good one...

He claims to be...I think he' s more like a " moderate puppet." I' m still not sure Arnold knows what he is, he is married to a Kennedy...
But nonetheless, the fact that Kali will still elect a governor under the " Republican" ticket, may mean that there is a slight light at the end of the tunnel for Kalifornia...
Can Arnold get it done? I don' t know, possibly no, we' ll just have to wait and see...He' s sure got his hands full though, the Davis economy ain' t gonna help him out any.
