RE: davis challenges arnold to a debate
Actually, our country is doing many of the things Jefferson envisioned. In some ways, we' re improving and in others, we' re just having to learn our lessons the hard way. Too many people renounce history or don' ty even study it in the first place. Then wonder why they keep making the same mistakes. Kinda like each new generation of kids thinks they' re discovering something new. For all of the crap we put up with, this country is running okay. Could it be better? Of course. That' s our job to accomplish though.
