AMEN Muddy, Shelton is a REAL American despite any party affiliations. ANYONE that attains the rank of General and higher is as much a politician as anyone else in Washington. But its real men like Shelton who dont forget what is most important, their country and the men serving under them, that seperates the cream from the slop. I still think Clarke is such a pansy that he will NOT seek the office of the President but will instead become Billary' s runningmate and that in and of itself makes him dispicable. How ANYONE in a posistion of power in our country' s military could support ANYTHING by or for a Klintoon after what they did to our military, is beyond human comprehension. A backdoor " payoff" has been promised by Klintoon to Clarke for adding his " militariness" to the ticket for Billary. The whole mess STINKS and sadly there are just enough stupid Americans with voting rights, to fall for it! [:' (]

I haven' t heard any of the men and women who served with him say anything good about him. From what I' ve heard, he was not highly respected as an officier. He' s flipped flopped already on several key issues like the war against terrorism several times faster than " Flipper" . To top off all the granddaddy reasons not to support him... " Bubby Klintone" and the kool-aid drinkers say they support him [:@] 2 thumbs down for Wes.

How about the reports this morning that Sillary is now saying that they have NEVER supported Clark and NEVER encouraged him to run??? I heard that this morning while in the shower and nearly fellout. My wife came running in asking why I was yelling, " BOOSHEUT BOOSHEUT BOOSHEUT YOU LYING BYTCH" !!!

Not only that, MinnFinn, but I remember a comment in one of the editions of The Federalist, which is a conservative e-zine I subscribe to, from a retired LTG in the Army, who knew Clark when he was a BG, and he said that Clark' s superiors couldn' t stand him, either! (Why they kept giving him good OERs is beyond me.)

He' s a viable Democrat in comparison to the others.
