Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Arnold is a joke. He' s a Demmie in Reps. clothing. I wish he would disapear. However, I don' t think McClintock has a chance. Arnold has had more free press than anyone I' ve ever seen.

I really don' t care if a Rep. wins because if he is, the Dems will just blame him when all the problems aren' t fixed. I figure Arnold will be the winner.[:' (]

First and foremost, Gray Davis needs to go. Bustamante wouldn' t be much better but anything is an improvement over Davis. Arnold is not a true conservative but calls himself a Republican.....which is better than ANY liberal. I think the best choice is McClintock...but Arnold would have to throw in the towel soon for him to have a chance. I think the 9th Circuit Court of Liberal Fools was cute today, reversing itself and all. Should be fun......

Since neither Arnold nor McClintok is willing to drop out, this may be a moot question. Rtread is right about all of the main players. McClintok actually has plans for resolving California' s financial problems but many people cannot see past the fact that he' s Republican and conservative.

I' ve yet to hear any other candidate even try to address the budget problems with a workable solution. Davis is hopelessy inept, corrupt and often just plain dumb. bustamante is just another type of corruption with no intention of changing the state' s spending habits. Arnold is trying to give everybody everything with his trite sayings but has not expressed any substantive ideas on how to accomplish this. Huffington seems preoccupied with namecalling and putting together her ridiculous cartoon which is almost appropriate since her candidacy is nothing more than a joke.

I, like many other Californians, am waiting to see how things play out between Arnold and McClintok.

i don' t think it would make any difference which republican does what.the liberals have a strangle hold on calif. and the majority of the people there do not want a conservative to curtail the giveaway programs.

Which one is more qualified? No question its McClintock. But then again look at what continually electing career politicians has gotten us in the last generation...

A true " Republican/conservative" doesnt stand a rats redazz chance in hell of being elected in Kookafornia, theres just to many nuts and pinkofags with voter cards in that state. Thats why its imperative to get a moderate or broadly appealing Republican on the ticket, if for no other reason than to get votes from the dopesmoking hippies in and around Hollyweird who are more starstruck than sensible. Arnold is the ONLY one in the heap that fits that bill and stands a decent chance. Thats why I think McClintock should realize what is best for California and bow out of the race. But he is being ignorant, selfish and letting his ego interfere with whats in the best interest of his state. On that note he is NO different than anyother politician.

If McClintock doesnt bow out soon, Bustamante WILL be the next governor of " Kalyfornyah" and despite what many think, he makes Grayout Davis look like a " cut it all" conservative. The budget deficit in Kookafornia under Bustamante will more than DOUBLE and the states economy will continue to suffer and decline. If Bustamante is elected, the I.N.S. may as well remove the fences and border checkpoints between Mexico and CA because its gonna be a nonstop freeway from Mexico City to L.A. under that fat lil Mexican.

I wish that earthquake would hurry up and put her in the drink!

Any true conservative would want Arnold to drop out...

McClintocks' the only conservative in the election anymore. Arnold is a puppet.

Hopefully there' s still enough conservatives in Kali to get McClintock in...you know...since minorities are running the state now (hard to call em minorities when there' s only 47% whites) it' s a wonder that there' ll ever be a Republican governor of Kali ever again...
