Default Black Conservative Republican Senate Candidate

Anybody from Georgia or nearby know anything about this guy and the race he' s in? Who he' s running against, etc.? He sounds like somebody I' d like to see in the Senate.

Quote:
Today' s CONSERVATIVE ALERT is a special message from Herman Cain, Republican for U.S. Senate:

I know you and I have probably never met. But with your help I can promise you one thing...

...I will fight tooth-and-nail in the U.S. Senate for the conservative Republican ideals we both share!

My name is Herman Cain and I' m a dedicated Republican anti-tax code activist.

I' m also a proud father and husband who is proud of my Christian upbringing I received here in Georgia.

That' s why I' m writing you today to ask for your help in my campaign for U.S. Senate:

[link]http://www.campaigncontribution.com/alerts/cain2/[/link]

This U.S. Senate seat here in Georgia is a must win for the Republican Party.

And that' s part of the reason I' ve decided to get into this race!

As the Chairman of a large American company, as an anti-tax code advocate, and as a dedicated Christian, I' m uniquely positioned to turn the tables on the liberal establishment.

I am taking an entrepreneurial approach to this race, and recognize that failure is not an option.

Also, as a corporate CEO, I am disgusted by the tax-and-spend philosophy of the liberal Democratic Party in America.

Their regressive taxation, their confiscation of wealth all the way through life (and even at death) and their immoral double taxation on the earnings of hard-working American' s simply has to stop.

And I' m passionately determined to do just that! Let me tell you why...

In 1994, Bill Clinton' s liberal advisors thought I was just another run-of-the-mill black CEO who toed the Democrat' s line... But they were WRONG!

Because on national television I stood up to Bill Clinton and told him his numbers for a national health care system were flat out " wrong" -- dead wrong.

I was the Chairman and CEO of Godfather' s Pizza at the time. And I knew this plan would cost many of my employees their jobs.

As a mathematics major in college, indeed I knew my numbers better than Bill Clinton' s.

Trust me, the liberal Democrats in the media didn' t know what to make of my stinging attacks on " Clinton-care" .

At least one member of the media has credited me with starting the demise of the socialist medical scheme planned by Bill and Hillary Clinton.

While I don' t think my comments alone were that powerful, I will admit that I am proud to have played a roll in keeping America free of a system of socialized medicine which would have bankrupted the economy.

My friend, as a CEO I know how to make money, create jobs, and how to encourage the entrepreneurial spirit of every American.

I want to take my hard-earned knowledge and use it to correct the left-of-center policies that have taken root in both the halls of Congress and the corridors of power in Washington.

Point blank, that' s why I' m writing you today.

I need your help to create opportunities, solve problems, and eliminate barriers to succeed as a nation united -- just as I have done successfully for 35 years as a business leader:

[link]http://www.campaigncontribution.com/alerts/cain2/[/link]

You see, I intend to change the course of America by becoming the next conservative Republican elected to the U.S. Senate from Georgia!

But to win, I will need your help.

You see, my race for the U.S. Senate isn' t about maintaining the " status quo" .

It' s about radical change and a realignment of America through...

...Replacing the tax code once and for all...

...Enhancing our nation' s security...

...Helping President Bush appoint conservatives to the U.S. Supreme Court...

...Proving to the liberal media that minorities can -- and will -- vote en mass for Republicans!

My friend, this is the FIRST U.S. Senate race in modern times that Georgians will have the opportunity to elect a fiscally and socially *conservative black Republican* to the U.S. Senate.

As a U.S. Senator, I promise you I will spare no effort to challenge each and every one of the big-government socialistic policies that Hillary Clinton, Ted Kennedy, or Tom Daschle proposes in Congress...

...From the failed social policies of excess government control, to the enslavement of the working family through excessive taxation, to the immoral attack on the family by marriage taxes, double taxation, and even " death taxes" , I intend to become a lightning rod and voice of government reform for the Republican Party!

And I intend to *wake up minorities* across America who have been taken for granted by the liberal Democrats.

As you can imagine, the infusion of a conservative Republican who also happens to be a successful black CEO is clearly one of the best possible developments possible in the U.S. Senate.

That' s why with your help, I intend to be the most aggressive problem-solver in the United States Senate.

I promise you today I will use my skills as a Chairman and CEO to tackle head on the biggest financial and moral problems our nation faces.

I intend to be a U.S. Senator of principle and action like never seen before. And I intend to advance the cause of freedom and prosperity in America like only a CEO can!

Now, I know I will be ridiculed by some members of the left for being a pro-life Christian, a pro-Second Amendment constitutionalist, and a passionate tax code replacement advocate.

That' s why I' m asking you to lend me a hand.

I cannot win this race on the strength of my conservative ideas alone.

Simply put, I need your financial help:

[link]http://www.campaigncontribution.com/alerts/cain2/[/link]

Your gift of $1,000, $500, $250, $100 or even $50 is desperately needed to get my campaign going strong.

We have less than 18 months to build an army of volunteers and massive campaign organization to win this critical U.S. Senate race.

That' s why your gift of $20, $35, $50 or even $100, $250 or $1,000 is so vital.

Please let me know I can count on you by clicking through and contributing securely online today.

The national Republican Party will be watching this race closely, and your help will make all the difference in winning this seat.

As a CEO, I know the importance generous people like you play in a campaign.

So please know how thankful I am for your gift of $1,000, $500, $250, $100, $50 or even $20.

And when you see me standing on the floor of the U.S. Senate fighting for your freedom and your rights, you will know your investment in my campaign was well worth it.

Sincerely,

Herman Cain, CEO
Republican for Senate (Georgia)

P.S. Please help me change the course of this nation by becoming the first conservative black CEO in America elected to the U.S. Senate in the Republican Party.

Unfortunately conservative blacks almost NEVER get the backing of their " own kind" . It' s a damn shame to considering that with minority lefties the race card is ALWAYS played.

Look at the hell Thomas went through !!

You guys are EXACTLY right. The liberals/Damocraps always want to schmooze and wooze the minorities, yet when " one of them" actually comes to their senses and proclaims to be a conservative they are INSTANTLY cast out and labled a " sell-out" or an Uncle Tom or a million other names. There have been some great conservative minorities within the last decade or so in politics and the press. JC Watts, Armstrong Williams just to name a few. Yet they get NO support but from those in the conservative parties and are attacked by the sharks in the liberal and leadership posistions of many " people of color" groups like the NAACP etc...

What I firmly dont understand is specifically why the blacks dont rise up against their leaders like Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton, Quase Mfume (or however the hell he is spelling it this week) and flatout tell them, " We are SICK of being lied to and treated like retarded, second class citizens" . Many of their " problems" are self inflicted and or nurtured by their " leadership" . They arent told how productive or smart they are and what a valuable resource they could be. Instead they are told about how they arent getting " what they deserve" and are told that white-America is the reason 70+% of them are born out of wedlock and that a vast majority of them have served time and have criminal records or that they commit the majority of the violent crimes in this nation. At what point does someone ask, " Why are we always talked down to and told how bad we are?" When instead they could all be " on easy street" if they followed the examples set forth by great men like Mr. Watts?

Its just a self-serving, vicious cycle implemented by a select group of " leaders" like the scumbags in The Rainbow Coalition and the NAACP for nothing more than their own interests. With a few exceptions like Bustamante and debacles like the Estrada confirmation, look at the gains the Latino population has made and is continuing to make, in recent history. They have effectively told the NAACP to kiss off. They arent " SOLELY Latino or nothing" like the liberal black leaders demand of their own. They have made great strides because they know the value of their people and dont " talk down to them" like they are idiots. Plus they actually encourage participation in the " American process" . (Now the non-English speaking part of it bothers me, but I guess you cant have everything!)

God help the liberals when we get ALL the upstanding, morally decent " family minded" people in this nation on our side!!!

Exactly Red, the leadership has them right where they want them and will do anything to keep them there, Their leaders lying to them is about as bad as what the libbies do with their lie about being the party for the poor. Its all about power and money, if there was no racism in this country they would' nt have a job or many camera opportunities. The more they believe people like jesse jack*** the more they are being used, until they realize their own values and what they can be to this country and culture its not going to get any better for them. Until they decide and believe they can be what ever they set their heads too it won' t get any better, cause the leadership they have now won' t let it.

This Herman Cain fella sounds like MY kind of man! I' d love to have the opportunity to vote for a guy like that. I am considering sending him a contribution.

And yes ya' ll are right, the blacks will never get behind a guy like this. He speaks of hope and prosperity. That doesn' t appeal to the avg. Democrat voter. They are interested in doom and gloom and hearing how " bad they have it" .

Now wait a minute. You mean to tell me just us conservative redneck Republicans are the only ones on this board to think this Herman Cain should get elected? Where are all the liberals and affirmative action types on the board? Doesn' t it count for them if the guy happens to be conservative also??? Makes you think.

would like to see more of his type in pa ,

as for why he wouldn' t get supported by his race , i think the fact that he' s a high ranking company ceo that would be his downfall , not just the fact that he' s a conservative. people like sharpton , and jesse jackson are allways preaching how they are held back from opportunity , and his success would be used against him like said above

Cal, libbies are not for blacks in power and they are more racist than a true Rep. could ever dream of being. Case in point.......the punch card voting machines in Cali. The libbies say that " minorities have trouble operating them" . WHAT? So because your skin is black or brown you are too stupid to push a hole in a piece of paper? That is the most racist thing I' ve ever heard!!![:@]

Whelen36, Txcowboy and others, you' re proving my point. I' ve posted about a successful black man who' s a CEO of a company and running for the U.S. Senate. So far, only a bunch of conservative rednecks have posted any support or response. What happened to all the caterwauling from the " Name the Hypocracy" subject?
