ITs called PORK BARREL spending and its is prevalent in ALL forms of govt. When the treasury dept asks for its budgetary requirements from congress each year, they are given the money with NO-ONE looking at the entire budget to see where its all going. I would' ve LOVED to seen the fallout had this been brought up in the budget meetings... " Lets see Mr. Snow, I see in your budgetary request that you want the American taxpayer to foot the bill for a $53,000,000.00 ad campaign for introducing the new $20 bill?"
Our elected officials are WEAK WEAK WEAK!!! Yet when someone who is " rough around the edges" or " to opinionated" runs for office, the voters have a million excuses for why the sorry bums up there now should remain in office.
Throw em ALL out on their asses and lets start over!!! [>:]
