Here is some information you won' t hear on the evening news......



Illegal Aliens.... The 2000 census revealed as many as 8.7 million illegal aliens now live in our country- far more than ever disclosed previously.



Taxes.... Services for immigrants, legal and illegal, costs taxpayers a record $68 billion per year.


Schools.... Bilingual education for immigrants' children adds atleast $8 Billion per year to the cost of education.


Social Security and Medicare....400,000 foreigners now collect SSI benefits from the Social Security Administration without having to work one day in America. And immigrants get Medicaid benefits 61% moreoften than native Americans.


Jobs.. Cuban-born economist George Borjas shows that immigration costs U.S. born workers $133 billion a year in job losses.

Crime.... Over 25% of todays Federal prisoners are immigrants. And in some ares 12% of felonies, 25% of burgularies, and 34% of auto thefts are commited by illegal aliens.

Welfare... Immigrants are 50% more likely to get welfare than natives, with a full 70% being more likely to get food stamps at a cost of 3.7 Billion a year.


Boy if we add all this up we could get some real tax relief and we could rebuild Iraq.

when it says immigrants , are they talking about people who are legally here , or are they talking about only illegal aliens ????

either way , that really does suck , sounds like a lot of us are getting royally shafted

Some defining footnotes are required to fully understand what these numbers really are. But, we should not accept illegal immigration and the entire country, not just border states, must take responsibility to rectify the situation and quickly.

Those actually pertain to illegals. If we added those that legally came here the numbers would be absolutely staggering that he' s citing.

in short, illegals should be given a 48 hour amnesty to get back over the border. After that it' s shoot on site.


All immigration must be halted for at least 10 years.

I would have to agree with fng.
On somewhat of a differant note ; it was on the news that L.A. would have to have ballots in seven differant languages for the recall vote.
What a bunch of crap, if they can' t read and speak English, why do they get to vote.
They won' t know who to vote for unless someone else tells them what the candidates stand for. So they shouldn' t get to vote anyway.

Yeah i agree with the fact that we are giving illegals a free ride as soon as they cross the border. we are getting royally shafted, which is why we need better border patrol and 50 feet concrete wall all across our border.

it seems to me that if the federal gov could not send money to the states to fund or match the free programs,the states would not have the money to throw a way without generating tax revenue and finally getting the taxpayers' attention as to where it is going.
