The difference between the two was that Nixon spent the time between that after office until his death, proving he was a geniunely good person who was morally decent and quite intelligent, especially with regards to foreign policy and basic leadership qualities. In the days that followed his death both sides of the political fence were in agreeance that he had overcome his " dark cloud" reputation to become an upstanding man who left behind a legacy that included ending the Vietnam war.
Billy Bob Corndawg on the otherhand... could spent 10 lifetimes on earth and NEVER clear his trailertrash reputation both domestically AND abroad. His childish contempt for ANYTHING other than his own personal desires will haunt him to his grave. He likewise set the nation back 50+ years with regards to foreign policy and the international opinion and views of America. Bush' s entire first term will be spent putting out Clinton' s " negligent fires" abroad. The ragheads/terrorists would NEVER have attacked us had a real man always remained in power and had our national defense and intelligence agencies not been " boned" by Clinton and his socialist appointees. His " legacy" will be one of complete lack of respect for the oath, the office, the people and the spirit of America!!!

It took Reagan a couple of years to repair the damage that Carter had inflicted upon the international opinion of America' s strength and resolve. He rebuilt it greater than ever and Bush Sr. gave a glimpse of our might during Desert Storm. Sadly Bush Jr. had to do it again, but this time we lost 3k civilians and the two greatest buildings in our nation in the process. How many more times will the Damocraps screw everything up before they learn that " Peace through Strength" is the ONLY thing that rogues like those in the Middle East understand???
