It' s already starting to catch up with them. The Republicans are outdoing them in fundraising by at least 2-1. Many of them are constantly switching gears because their message isn' t getting the traction they want. This should be an interesting election cycle.[8D]

I normally don' t participate in what appear to be hopeless causes however, I will take a shot at this one and point out how stupid that entire post was on so many levels.

First, Republicans receive less " large" contributions than the Democraps do. In fact the majority of Republican fund raising comes from people who contribute less than $1,000.

Second, have you ever heard of supply and demand. Bush would actually stand to lose money by America taking over Iraq' s oil resources, so which is it. Is he greedy or isn' t he? Please make up your mind!

Third, the economy was almost a year into to the current recession when Bush took over. If you really want to talk causes of the recession you need to do a little research on the repealing of Glass-Steagel (by the Clinton administration which incidentally made the whole World Com scandal possible(talk about being a party to corrupt big business)) and 9/11 which also probably wouldn' t have happed if Clinton had a pair of balls to make a decision with something other than his **** or a Gallop poll in hand

Ok so you do not consider tobacco, or natural resource companies big business then do you silent? Because the republican party recieves huge contrabutions from them every election.

If you would do some research into the gulf war silent, you would find out that Bush Sr. made a fortune because of his investments in the middle east. Also the hand picked companies that are in charge of rebuilding Iraq is gonna make Bush and Cheney very very rich from this war.

Third, we were not in a recession when Bush took office. The ecenomy had slowed some, but in less than a year Bush blew a record surplus into a record defecit. The national debt that had been paid down by Clinton, began to rise again at a record rate, so the is a very weak attampt to blame Clinton for Bush' s policies and failures. Bush is the most fiscally irresponsible president in this nations history.

9/11 wouldnt have happened if Clinton had taken action, do you really believe that? Bush has had total control of afganistan for almost 2yrs, and he hasnt caught Bin Laden, and al-Queda is still attacking targets around the world, and prob here again soon. Clinton couldnt have went into Afganistan before 9/11 either, or we would have been at war with the entire middle east.

And between you and me Strut, Clinton didnt run for congress in 94' but you blame everything on him you can right? Funny how easily he was re-elected isnt it? Also funny how he now has a higher approval rating with his former job preformance, than our current president does. 47% for Clinton to 42% for Bush.
