Default McCain/Feingold CFR bill' s on the Supreme Ct. chopping block!

I just read an article that said that the McCain/Fiengold CFR bill is on the " fast-track" to be heard by the Supreme Court, who' s going to sit a special session for this issue (which it the first time the USSC has held a special session since they ordered Nixon to turn over the Watergate tapes). Hopefully a 5-4 majority will shoot down this bil that effectively squelched the 1st Amendment rights of special interest groups and the citizens who have to pay them to make their voices heard. Meanwhile, the libbies get all the free press time they could ask for because the bill doesn' t do anything to ensure the press gives all sides equal press time.

I can' t believe this bill ever went through the congress in the first place, let alone got signed by Bush. This is a law that is reminicent of what the Soviets did to stamp out subversive anti-communist sentiment.

You know that congress really overstepped its bounds and walked all over the constitution when you get groups that are normally blood enemies (the NRA and the ACLU in this case) on the same side to fight it.

I hope the Supreme Court puts this law down like a rabid dog.

I guess that that' s a good thing...even though I' m not sure I have much faith in the Supreme Court anymore...it seems that here recently they' ve been making all the wrong decisions...

**** sure was charlie and I still don' t agree with it. It is one of the very few things he done that I don' t like, but then again I don' t think anyone could please everyone all the time, of course unless you talk to monica about bill, she might disagree with me.

There sure are a lot of demos wanting to get this law tossed out. their fundraising has gone down the tubes since it went into effect. Guess they should' ve been more careful what they asked for.
