Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

AND it is a %4.1 raise. I don' t know where ya' all work, but as far as raises goes, if I get %3 it is considered HUGE... Especially with the economy as it stands now. Rat B@st@rds![:@]

The state of wisconsin cut the U.W. system' s bloated funding by a meager 250 million (which is about 4% of their overall budget). They claimed they were going to have to burn babies and eat saltines in the dark because of this...

lo and behold, these b&stards on the board of regents turned around and gave themselves a huge pay increase.

i read in the paper ( the express-times ) in my area , that president bush was against this pay raise , he said it would put the war on terror in jeopardy.

i also remember reading that this would put thier pay up to $158,000.00 or $154,000.00 a year

Sswpriz ,
they don' t have to sneak , their ability to vote themselves a pay raise has been legal for decades . It is also against the law for them to refuse the raise if it gets voted in . What a racket ! [:@]

Big deal. If everyone in the country knew about the pensions plans congress gets and the fact that they all can (and do) opt out of socialist security, these rats would all be swinging from the tallest trees in DC by the end of the week.[:@]
