Just wondering how many of us on here drive one of the gas-guzzling SUV' s? Rush warned us 2 or 3 years ago that this SUV thing was going to be a big deal with the environmental wacko' s. I thought he was going a little over board, but now not a day goes by hardly if you don' t see or hear on the news of another SUV tragedy, never about the driver but the SUV. Wonder why we never hear of things happening to the other types of vehicles out there? Rush has turned out to be RIGHT again.
You ever heard his parody song on the SUV' s?, ' IN A YUGO" . cracks me up.

GUN-OWNERS, UNITED WE STAND DIVIDED WE FALL.
I drive a 98 Jeep Cherokee Classic and the Sierra club can take it from me only if they can run faster that an arrow shot from my Bowtech Patriot. They' ll get it when they pry my cold dead fingers away from the steering wheel.
02 Z-71 Avalanche " SUT" here. I dont give a DAMN what some politician, greenweenie activist or anyother pinhead has to say about MY MONEY, MY TRUCK and MY LIFE, its MY DECISION. If I want to pour 30 gallons of gas out in my yard and light it for farts n giggles, thats MY decision.
My " assassination finger" gets itchy when I see idiots like Billary, Ralph Nader, Charles Shumer etc stand before a tv camera and espouse their elitist bilge about why I should drive a Toyota instead of my Avalanche, only to see them leave the building under security and climb into an armored fleet of suburbans. Remember the " equality in damage" theory the Klintons dept of transportation tried to instill upon us a few years ago? The very notion that I would actually want my wife and children to sustain the same amount of bodily harm done to some granola eatin leaflicker who tried to drive under my Avalanche in their Kia, all in the name of " fairness" ...
PULEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZZZ!!! [:@][:@][:@]

ps
Toyota, Nissan, Kia, Hyundai they make fine stuff. Fine wheel chocks that is []
Yes, a Chev Tahoe and before that pickups back to about 1969. Always got an engine bigger than I needed so I wouldn' t need more than I had. I' ve never complainted about the price of fuel.
My other vehicle is a Buick Riviera in Pearl White with 10 coats of clear coat/lacquer with a super charger. Changed the chip to eliminate the speed restrictions.

and my other truck (my baby)
1981 chevy silverado 4x4 , custom built over bored 468 c.i. v-8 with a holley four barrel carb , 4" lift with 36" tsl super swamper radial tires , and on the front a warn combo bumper/brush/winch mount guard with a warm m8274-50 8,000 lbs. winch with two kc off-road lights and a set of fog lights. and on top a grizzly mercury tube triple tube roll bar with a smitty built light bar holding two kc ( pencil beam ) off-road lights , and a lund moon-visor , light up bed rails , and a c.b. radio , ( and constantly more being added )
Not an SUV, but still a " gas guzzler" by the tree-huggers standards.
I drive a 2002 Ford Ranger Edge Ext. Cab 4x4. And if the bunny huggers don' t like it then they should let me borrow their hybrid during hunting season. I' d LOVE to see the look on their face when I threw a bloody deer carcass into the trunk! Otherwise, they can kiss my big butt! " Oh, and don' t worry, that smell will fade in a couple years!"
I can afford the gas, so I' ll darn well drive what I want.
