Kathy Dahlkemper "I wouldn't have voted for Obamacare if I'd known..."
Blind following got you on that one. Guess it is not such a good idea to pass a bill so you can see what is in it. Glad you lost your job for being a bone head and not holding your own to the task they were put in office to do. That would be read the bills and measure and weigh them. Im sick of hearing Obama/exObama supporters say, "I didnt know".

With her as an exception, isn't it odd that "Christian" (and I use that term very loosely) demos. Are all for killing babies. Piglose is proud of killing babies and has the nerve to call herself a devout Catholic.

I have long been an advocate of the Catholic Church publicly excommunicating political 'Catholics' for their positions on abortion.
They need to cast aside that 'tax exempt' status and take on the political issues of the day, because they erode the very tenets of religion in general, and of Christianity and Catholicism in particular.
The 'flock' must be herded in the RIGHT direction; currently they are scattered and headed for the precipice.

I can't have any respect for religions that allow politics to sway their belief system. The Catholic church is far too involved with politics to do anything like you mentioned. Case in point: bho carried the Catholic vote last election.
It's very similar to the Southern Baptist Convention when clinton was caught red-handed. Even the AR Bar Association had the guts to take a stand and disbar him, but the SBA didn't have the guts to make a call. Didn't want to offend members.
I'd love to see a real tightening down and equal application of the "tax exempt" status. Many pulpits are nothing but pollitical pedestals for so-called "preachers" to tell their congregations who to vote for--like union leaders. They should loose their tax-exempt status immediately, and have to pay a manditory back-tax for the past 10 years. That won't happen either though, for the same reason. Too much money and power involved.

I have had serious issues with their support for the democrats. It has finally hit them in the face. They will win this in court because the federal government has no standing. The federal government just lost and eeoc case in the supreme court 9 to 0. Not even close call on religious freedom.
It's too bad this money will go to lawyers instead of the poor.

Ironic how their money was spent supporting it, and now it's spent fighting it. Just desserts the way I see it. It is a shame that it just means fewer dollars will be spent where churches should be spending their money.

Your right but on a side note, read the book Ameritopia. Mark does a very good job at presenting the past philosophers attempts to define utopia. Then he does a great job at showing the liberals model of always promising to deliver utopia. It begins with distoying the individual and then moves to destroying their moral institutions. Always in the name if the greater good for society as a whole.
Buy it, read it, you won't be disappointed.

I'll try to do that. I don't do nearly enough reading anymore--a good book would be nice!
