Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

2 different issues. One is free speech. If you want to eliminate crony capitalism, limit the revenue/spending government can do. Its interesting to hear libs praise the spending Republicans do and praise Democrats for spending. Cut out both.

You seriously think it is a good idea to have elections decided by billionaires (either party) buying the election? You think someone who gets elected based on astronomical corporate donations is going to get into office and give any thought to what's best for a family of 4 living on like $40,000?

Thinking.......thoughts over, no, it's a bad idea to put and arbitrary limit on speech.

You want to change things and be better represented in Washington? Reinstitute 1 house representative per 40k people. Right now it's around 800k people.

Don't throw up the false argument we can't have 7k people in the house voting because it would be too costly. You are paying for it now in the amount of unelected staff people.

It takes way less money to convine 20k to vote for you than 400k. Then to to go further, quit giving 3.6 trillion dollars to 536 people to spend. When was the last time you thought about how to spend the winnings from powerball? That was only 200 million.
