Default Ill post this again, since some have asked. Buffet not paying taxes.

Quote:
Americans for Limited Government researcher Richard McCarty, who was alerted to the controversy by a federal government lawyer, said, “The company has been short-changing the tax collection agency for much of the past decade. Mr. Buffett’s company has not fully settled its tax bills from 2002-2009. Yet he says he’d happily pay more. Except the IRS has apparently been asking him to pay more going on nine years.”

I posted something awhile back stating he owed 1 billion in taxes. Yep, he is so desperate to pay even more.

The whole Buffet episode was likely an orchestrated scam. Equating the capital gains tax to ordinary income tax is an exercise in ignorance of the facts and there are two people that I know are keenly aware of the depth of the deceit in such a comparison...Obama and Buffet.

They are simply taking advantage of the public ignorance on such matters. Both have much to gain from doing so.

I agree. One needs to look no further than Buffet's investments after the crash. Obama has done very well in protecting them.
