Cool

This article should be must reading for everyone.

I can say for a fact that anyone who grew up in the Great Lakes region at least is well aware that serious climate change is possible.

But the idea that we humans are causing it is absurd if you consider that one good volcanic eruption like Krakatoa or Pinatubo puts more CO2 into the atmosphere than we have done over our entire history.

it's a fraud....the entire push for this green crap is a fraud. It's a grab for money and power and control. The sooner people realize this, the better off they'll be.

Well if global warming is man made then it has to come from the sudden hot air coming out of the mouths of the Liberal Scumbags on Capitol Hill. I know that Nancy Pelosi alone can melt one polar cap!<-------- Nancy's breath!

Even cement production has CO2 output greater than all the active global volcanoes put together.

http://volcanoes.usgs.gov/hazards/gas/climate.php

"Human activities, responsible for a projected 35 billion metric tons (gigatons) of CO2 emissions in 2010 (Friedlingstein et al., 2010), release an amount of CO2 that dwarfs the annual CO2 emissions of all the world’s degassing subaerial and submarine volcanoes (Gerlach, 2011).

[…]

The 35-gigaton projected anthropogenic CO2 emission for 2010 is about 80 to 270 times larger than the respective maximum and minimum annual global volcanic CO2 emission estimates. It is 135 times larger than the highest preferred global volcanic CO2 estimate of 0.26 gigaton per year (Marty and Tolstikhin, 1998).”

China and India combined have been putting online roughly 2 coal-fired power plants each week.

It is partly masked by global dimming.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Global_dimming

http://www.guardian.co.uk/environmen...a-coal-climate

"The huge increase in coal-fired power stations in China has masked the impact of global warming in the last decade because of the cooling effect of their sulphur emissions, new research has revealed."

Not even close. Global warming gases only make up 2% of our atmosphere. Water makes up 95% of that 2%. Co2 only account for 3%. There isn't enough up there to make a difference. Besides that, where does the overwhelming majority of CO2 come from?
