not surprised. did ya watch the florida debate? i dont know any of these guys, but the 2 guys in the middle seem to me, to be the losers of the 4...the guy on the right hand side was quite old, but has some good ideas....the guy on the left hand side seems to be the only one there that is passionate about cutting spending and gettin the spending under control. i am not an avid follower by any means, but what i saw last night looks like we'll have to wait til 2012 fer a new pres!! let the bashing begin.

I can only think that you're using false naivete to avoid naming the candidates in your critique. The fact that the 2 'losers' are the front runners in this race must be daunting. Welcome to the club...the rest of the republican world is right there with you. The only 'saving grace', if you can call it that, is that the entire nation is waiting to see who gets the nod so they can vote Obama out of office. That seems to be the mantra and commitment of the republican electorate, "Anyone but Obama". I subscribe to that school of thought. Both the 'losers' have engaged in liberal legislation and policy...one even boasts that he can cross the aisle and compromise. I have come to realize that when a republican agrees to 'compromise' with the demokrat, it means he has to drop all pretense of holding his own opinions, or those of his party, and agree to support the demokrat debacle-to-be. I cannot abide by an 'aisle crosser' so I will vote for that candidate who appears to be LEAST likely to make peace with the enemy. The OLD one has good ideas....but he's a foreign-policy pygmy. He can do a lot of good as a member of one of the other two 'loser' candidates administrations. The one who is proposing actual cuts....he's got no shot, apparently, but would also bring huge value as a member of one of the 'loser' administrations. We are looking at basically a 2-man race, with the ones providing 'meat' being out of the running as candidates. Too bad....
Obama will win this election easy. The Republicans can't find a decent candidate and have spent 100's of millions abusing each other. Obama hasn't spent a penny of his expected 500 mil yet. Also, GDP is showing growth, jobs growth is continuing.
All Obama has to say in his speech. "Are you better off than you were 4 years ago" (answer yes for sure - We were in a total financial crisis, recession, losing 700,000 jobs per monthh) He will follow that with, just remember the Bush and Cheney years and do we want to give them the keys to the candy store where they can again spend us into the poor house.
Look to 2016, but you will then be battling Hillary

You are right about one thing. Obama has not spent a penny of his money, it has been the tax payers money and he has continued to campaign on our dime, ever since he took office.
As for GDP. I thought you were a CPA. When inflation is higher than GDP, it dont quite work out. Keep on showing your ignorance.

Total finacial crisis is over? Why are they talking about breaking up BOA? Why are we seeing the lowest housing numbers ever? Why are we losing billions in the auto ball outs? Hmmm, 700,000 jobless is now 400,000 job loss. Recession being over? We have little growth. Look around, it's not over. Now we have record deficits with no end in sight and 6 trillion in new debt by Election time. Good job Obama
