Default Poor Buffets seceratary. Why doesnt Obama want to tax her more?

Poor women meets Obama's definition of rich, so why isnt he insisting that she pays even more in taxes? She earned up to a half a million dollars last year and just bought a second home.

The Forbes link is broken. I think they may have revisited the numbers and decided it wasn't accurate.

The problem with that analysis is that it ignores Buffett's initial premise. He wasn't talking ONLY about income tax. His reference was to income tax AND payroll tax. Thus, his secretary is already at 15.3% before she's even paid a dime of income tax... Given Buffett's reported rate of 17.4%, she's not going to have to make between $200,000 and $500,000 in order to get to 2.2% income tax.

Buffett has stated that he pays her $60,000 per year:

Here's another article from Forbes:

Heres the Forbs link again. Not sure why it was not working the first time.

It still appears to me to be based on a faulty premise (i.e. that Buffett was talking only about "income tax" when his comment specifically referred to "income tax AND payroll tax"), and contradicts what Buffett said he pays her (he says he pays her $60,000 per year).

I'm calling BS on his reported claim of what he is paying her. All the more reason both tax returns need to be released before anymore discussions are done on this topic.

Why? $60,000 is consistent with pay scales for executive secretaries to CEO's. Tulsa, OK median salary is currently $63,000. And, he made the comment about her salary being $60,000 in 2007.

And, again... He's not talking about just income tax. He's referencing both income and payroll tax...

are you stupid? cause she pays 36% tax! not 15% that's his point moron!

the really rich pay 15% tax, people earning 200-500k in income pay closer to 36%! (which is more than 15%)

you probably don't agree that 36% is more than 15% cause you're a republican, facts figures don't make sense to you.

ask another stupid question.

maybe your new post could be why don't the unemployed without any income pay tax??
obviously a riddle for your superior mind numb nuts.
