Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Seems to me, I'd be looking towards a source OTHER than the partisan rag, the New York Times. Keep digging, Sherlock...you'll find the truth eventually....

Ron Paul cutting the military budget seems to make the most sense.
$500 billion cut... works for me.

Sure it does, you've never stopped to consider the safety you enjoy at the hands of the military you wish to eviscerate. You think you'll be safe without 'em. I pray you're right, but secretly wish you find out first hand that you're wrong.

I could solve it better because national defense is actually in the constitution. Just kill all the welfare programs that are given fancy names starting with SS, Medicare and medicaid. Fyi, they aren't in the constitution.

The Army and the Air Force aren't in the Constitution either, only the Navy.

No mention of sheep either

Bs, national defense.

So I read the article. What total BS. Budget projections aren't dynamic. They assume no change and no recession. Even Clinton admitted he lied and over taxed the American people. Clinton handed a recession. 9/11 contributed to a 1 trillion dollar drop in GDP overnight. Before the democrat take over of congress and their spending took effect, the deficit in 2007 was just over 200 billion.

Bottom line, more cover up by the left instead of facing reality.
