Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Put a fork in Newt, he is done

I think Newt would eat Obama alive in a debate, but it looks like he won't get the chance.

"Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned"...hopefully conservatives have enough sense to remember that...

I'm sure no "ex" wife has good things to say about their ex-husband... This is a response from his daughters:

Quote:
The failure of a marriage is a terrible and emotional experience for everyone involved. Anyone who has had that experience understands it is a personal tragedy filled with regrets, and sometimes differing memories of events.

We will not say anything negative about our father’s ex-wife. He has said before, privately and publicly, that he regrets any pain he may have caused in the past to people he loves.

ABC News or other campaigns may want to talk about the past, just days before an important primary election. But Newt is going to talk to the people of South Carolina about the future– about job creation, lower taxes, and about who can defeat Barack Obama by providing the sharpest contrast to his damaging, extreme liberalism. We are confident this is the conversation the people of South Carolina are interested in having.

Our father is running for President because of his grandchildren – so they can inherit the America he loves. To do that, President Obama must be defeated. And as the only candidate in the race, including Obama, who has actually helped balance the national budget, create jobs, reform welfare, and cut taxes and spending, Newt felt compelled to run - to serve his country and safeguard his grandchildren's future.
Let's hope that Christian Conservatives can practice what they preach about forgiveness...

In other news, Perry has dropped out. And, endorsed Newt.

I'm not so sure. Perry just quit and endorsed Newt. That will help. I saw several folks interviewed saying that the ex is off base, the timing is suspect by ABSleaze News and and it would not deter them from picking Newt. We'll see.

I think I've just about had it with these last minute women bombs. Something like this will happen to everyone of our candidates in the most inopportune time. The fact she waited until now to do this turns me against her. There are usually two sides of a story in a domestic squabble. Maybe she just lost all the domestic debates. Can you imagine arguing with Newt?

Im hoping the Evangelicals can follow their faith and remember the importance of forgiveness, and the fact that God alone judges.

I also find it somewhat suspect that 13 years have passed since the 1999 divorce without a flippin' peep outta the woman....dont know if there was a separation before that, or when....but after all this time, what's going on now just screams BEYOTCH. How much did ABSleaze pay her to rip open old wounds and exact 'payback' ? This could have the OPPOSITE effect of what the enemy is attempting with this attack...republicans may come to Newt's aid, seeing the bald-faced malevolence being bared here...

Good point. As of right now, it is all over the media. If Newt is to pull this out, He better have a very good damage controle team.

It's not like any of this is new information. His prior infidelities have been widely documented...

True....nothing new here....just a rehash of the hate and agony of a breakup being told first hand by a former Mrs.Gingrich, as conveyed by Obama supporters in the lamestream media. Just more proof that obama's supporters are a malignancy upon the land, and they corrupt all that they touch....

Nothing new it seems.

Newt's doing good in SC according to the polls. He could possibly beat Romney in the state as of now. I think it'll probably hold him done, though.

It'd be funny if the Republicans try to push all his baggage to the convention. lol Couldn't even get on the ballot in his own state.
