I read somewhere maybe here that liberals/democrats only invoke Christianity to make a political point. Any other time they are doing all they can to avoid Jesus.

Your post Sal looks like more of the same. As a Christian I have no problem voting for a Mormon, a republican Mormon that is.

Hmmm...Romney doesn't have the nomination yet, but it seems the libs are scared to death of him already.

A quick comparison...a "what if Romney gets the nomination"...

That would leave us with two clear choices. One candidate who is pro-abortion, anti-gun, pro-welfare, anti-American, anti-Capitalist, pro-big government...and one candidate who is the opposite.

Religious beliefs aside (as if one of them even has any kind of real religious affiliation, except when it's convenient), the choice for me is easy--and it will be the one that reflects mainstream Christian beliefs.

Sal, you are now showing your ignorance. I just met with two Mormon Missionaries, and we talked for quite a spell, I told them I was a Mormon once, but left the church for various reasons and explained to them that I'm a Christian but not keen on organized religion. They knew the plan of salvation and for me that is all that matters. The problem with RELIGONS is they swallow the fruit and choke on the seeds, and I'm not going to get into that on this forum, that one is for the Religion forum.


I would also like to go on the record and officially say that you cannot be a Christian and a Democrat, if you are a Democrat you are a disgrace to Christianity, and all that Jesus stood for. How can you call yourself a Christian and support a group that condones the killing of babies, they are nothing but murderers! How can you call yourself a Christian and support a group that condones heterosexuality with same sex marriages? If you call yourself a Christian how can you support a group that gives to the lazy from funds from people that do work? That goes against all teachings of the Bible, I can go on and on, but you my Sal are an accuser of the faith!
Be careful of what comes out of your mouth, the more you spew, the more your ignorance shines before us all!
This is one of the first post in the last seven or eight years I've been on here that really ticked me off!!!

So far my vote is for Romney...

As far as the religious part. Many times the Lord used a false religius sect to drive home a point.The Samaritains..saying "Go and do thou likewise." not adhere to thier teachings but follow their actions..I like the actions of Romney..I do not agree with his theology but I do agree with his stance on many topics.

Actually I don't like Romney that much in fact I'll vote for someone else, but if he get the nomination I'll support him 100%, any thing would be better than the sack of manure we have in the Whitehouse today.

And to say that Romney is not a Christian is way off base; I can spew trash on almost every organized Christian cased Organization because I don't agree with them, but I'd be off base to say they were not Christians.
