Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default D.C. rats moving across the Potomac ?

Truth is stranger than fiction...however this looks genuine.

Cuccinelli said D.C.'s new rat law--the Wildlife Protection Act of 2010 (Wildlife Protection Act of 2010.pdf) --is “crazier than fiction” because it requires that rats and other vermin not be killed but captured, preferably in families; no glue or snap traps can be utilized; the rodents must be relocated from where they are captured; and some of these animals may need to be transferred to a “wildlife rehabilitator” as part of their relocation process.
Just like a bureaucrat to come up with a million dollar "solution" to a 5 cent problem. This nothing that a pellet gun cannot handle.

It was suggested to me that I capture the rabbits around my property and relocate them using a Havahart trap. After about a dozen or so capture and relocates I found my pellet gun was a much more effective tool. The Turkey Vultures also agree!

This reminds me of a meeting I had here in Texas. A state park was over populated with deer so we, as a board, suggested a lottery for bow hunts. But of course some nut job insisted that we start a birth control program. Once it was all said and done, we had a one day bow hunt to cull 25 deer. It was a success and money was made.

Sounds like something based in fact and real-world understanding.
Which is to say, that it's completely OPPOSITE of the stupidity the left can and does propose.....
