Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Iowa Caucus

I watched the coverage on Fox off and on through the night. It was an interesting event. It also makes me feel like a lot of our candidates are infinitely better than Obama.

Is Gingrich still in? or just a 3 way race between Romney, Santorum, Paul??

I don't think we can conclude too much from the Iowa results. Wasn't the winner Huckabee in the last election?

As the weaker candidates drop out, where their supporters go will determine the outcome.

Perry has hinted that he'll drop out. Will his supporters go with Romney, Gingrich, or Santorum?

Really it is just between Romney and Paul. Santorum is just the flavor of the month as were Newt and Herman Cain. The vote came before anyone had a chance to really look at Santorum I doubt he will last past New Hampshire.

You may be right about Santorum. Time will tell. But I disagree that it's between Romney and Paul. As other candidates drop out, their supporters will go to Romney or Gingrich, or possibly Santorum if he can continue to attract suppport.

Paul's problem is that the only support he'll get, he already has. People will be looking at Santorum now and he may be able to stay out in front.

Romney has some serious baggage,
Romneycare,
Past support for gun control,
Past support for abortion,
And his Mormon faith could cost him in the Bible Belt.

Santorum may start looking like an attractive alternative to Gingrich who also has some baggage.

Gingrich is done, unfortunately. Paul is a non-contender...he's just an "American Gothic" look alike who is two sheets to the wind when it comes to foreign policy (That means he's a foreign policy retard, in case I needed to spell it out for any Paul supporters out there). Unfortunately, cripes.....Santorum won't last either; correctly or not, the media is gonna paint him as 'far right'....it's gonna be romney so don't gag when you pull the curtain closed on that voting booth in November....

Right down to the convention, it will be Romney, Paul and Gingrich. Maybe Santorum, but the first three are a 'lock'. Gingrich is tenacious and will not quit the race until/unless someone else gets the nomination. Looks like Rick Perry and Michelle Bachmann are done. As far as Gingrich going to the bitter end....you can bet on it.

It's going to be interesting to see how picks up Bachmanns supporters. Personally I like Rick; he's always been my favorite, but I don't think he's got the bucks to run with the big dogs!
