TEHRAN – A senior Iranian commander said Thursday that Washington was "in no position" to give orders to Iran when it comes to the Strait of Hormuz, as tensions continued to rise between the countries over the key oil transit channel.
Brigadier General Hossein Salami, the deputy commander of Iran's Revolutionary Guards, said that "the Islamic Republic of Iran asks for no other country's permission for the implementation of its defense strategies," Iran's state-run Press TV

Every American Oil Tanker should be escorted in and out of the Strait of Hormuz any foreign vessel seen as a threat or interfering with the tankers destination or duties should be sunk immediately!

i can see why its our fight, but it shouldnt be. we need to find and use our own sources. tax payers payin out the waaazooo for our military being over there some more...geeesh, didnt we learn from afghanistan? we could of built the great wall of china around the u.s by now, physically as well as technologically. invest in better fuel resources already!
there is a guy that built a machine that can turn ANYTHING back into crude oil, i really dont know what we are waiting for.

One thing for sure Obamalamadingdong is not going to let us get our own oil off our shores, so unless you want to be paying 20.00 a gallon for gas let Iran act a fool... I'd still like to blow Iran into Kingdom Come, as a matter of fact of of the Middle East as far as I'm concerned is nothing but a trash dump of the world.

I know I have a hard time expressing my inner-feelings..

Pull the leash off Israel and let them go at it. They will take care of the problem quickly.

Reminds me of a joke from the 1980s when the Iranians last attempted to interdict traffic through the Strait of Hormuz:

"Why does the new Iranian Navy have glass-bottomed boats?"

"So they can see the old Iranian Navy"

Maybe delaying the Keystone pipeline wasn't such a good idea after all. Don't think you would have to worry about us Canadians holding the oil hostage, or needing military escorts!

This President is hoping that Iran does just what they are threatening to do. Than he can blame Bush for one more thing. Second he can also again show that the US is a warmongering nation needing the UN to hold us back.
Personally, I think that without the United States, the world would be about 100 years further in the past than we are now.
Lacking the industrial and Technological revolutions that were initiated here in the United States.
Obama is trying to apologize to the world for our own people being smarter, and more creative than the rest of the world.
He can't stand that we are Successful, without government assistance and interdiction.

This situation does not appear to get resolved without and 'exchange' of some kind. Iran is looking to start something, that's plain. It's Obama who's being tested here and if he shows the same gutless, nutless, spineless tendencies all liberals display, then we WILL be paying 20bucks a gallon for gasoline regardless of how many billions of gallons of crude, or how many trillions of cubic feet of NG we may have domestically. Israel has no stake in the Straits of Hormuz. Their issue is Iranian nukes and their ability to deliver them with a missile. So unless Iran has both a fissionable bomb and the means to deliver it, why would Israel enter this pissing contest ? No, this is OUR problem. The scumbags running this country have denied us access to our own natural resources, and as a result, we will need to shed blood to acquire someone else's natural resources. This is what happens when you elect an enemy to the presidency.....
