Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Smile Newt to gay "marriage" supporter...

Don't vote for me.

Excellent! A man who would rather be right than president

I think it was a good call on Newt's part. And the slob did not get his 'gotcha' moment, and was told basically, to go take a walk. Newt's the only candidate...

This is exactly why I like Newt in the race. He will say what he thinks, regardless of the effects. He could have taken the "political" path out of that conversation, the guy even baited him to do so, he simply said "this is what I think, if you don't agree, and it's a key issue for you, then don't vote for me"

I wish they'd all do that, take a stance on the issues, not dance around trying not to offend anyone.

Therein lays the problem with his performance in the political arena. He says what he thinks, which is rare in politics but that kind of action results in the loose cannon moniker. Politics today seems like it has migrated to damage control due to media scrutiny. My hat is off to him for saying it like it is and not doing the political soft shoe. I bet it makes the party leaders shudder a bit though.

Actually, Newt is realizing he thinks a lot like MOST people think.
And Obama loses ground each and every day. Can't bark at that !
