Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Republican Debate from Last Week

I saw snippets of the debate but didn't have time to watch the entire debate (lucky I recorded it) until today. I was pretty impressed overall. All of the candidates are definitely stepping up their game. What do you guys think about each candidates' performance and what do you think they bring to the table?

It was a great debate all the way around. Ron Paul got fully exposed for the nut case he is on foreign policy. Thank you Michelle.

Something else that I've been sidetracked on is the # of quality Republican candidates. In this election cycle, we've had 8 front-line candidates and a few other names who stayed out but also have something to offer. I've tried to remember but just don't recall ever seeing that many quality (at least front-line) Democratic candidates in any recent election cycle. If nothing else, Republicans definitely have more options to offer.

I agree FM in your assessment about Ron Paul's foreign policy ideas. I realize he tried to deflect Bachman's attack by changing the subject and essentially dodged the repeated questions from the moderator on the subject of Iran. That subject is usually only partially effective and less so right after you've made such a foolish and misguided (I'm being kind here) statement about a critical subject like Iran and nuclear weapons.

Bingo, the quality of the field. Besides Ron Paul who is who he is and Huntsman that really hasn't got traction because he really is weak, the rest of the field is strong. If anything, the media is trying to distort the level of support in the polls as a negative. Instead of realizing what it is.

You are seeing strong steady support for your candidate and their positions. When Romney can't get more than 25%, it's a solid 25. When Santorum can't get double digits, it's still a solid foundation.

Those who rose in the polls, rose with wishy washy voters who are solid Republican base. When push comes to shove, you will see the base fully behind the person who emerges from this primary.

For you folks worried about Obama or still supporting him. Tell me tomorrow how many Obama bumper stickers you still see on cars from last election? Then tell me how many new Obama stickers? If I'm lucky, I can count on one hand at most how many 08 stickers remain on cars from last election on any given trip. Since I've been looking, going back many many months, I still haven't exceeded one hand in total.

Quit kidding yourself. Obama is in serious trouble!
