French Rafale Jet--Onboard camera

This is a YouTube video from a camera placed in the cockpit of a French Rafale jet (Air superiority fighter). If you watch the footage of this jet, it is simply amazing how tight it can turn, climb and maneuver.

I've been reading up on US jets and our F-22 is supposed to be even better. It's interesting to note that the F-22 was first produced in 1997 and is still considered to be the top jet in the world. It's also not available to export outside the US.

Enjoy the video and consider that for all of the caterwauling about US forces being degraded, we still have some of the most formidable weaponry and troops on the planet.

Being a pilot and aviation buff I thought that was awesome. Too bad they are phasing out the F22 and relacing with the heavy, underpowered and cheaper F35. Looks like China has developed a stealth twin engine fighter that some experts predict will out perform the F22.
