Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default anybody familiar with Chicago ?

what follows is a link from a pro-Obama site, in anticipation of the 2008 elections. It shows where he lived, worked played. Presumably, it is accurate. I see a distinct difference between where he lived and where he worked. Take a look at the map which is admittedly, not too detailed. I'd be interested to know what observations can be made. I will reserve my own comments until later....

The locations in the middle, at the lower edge of Lake Michigan are proximate to the University of Chicago. This is on the South Side of Chicago, a very poor, ghetto-like area. The yet further south area of Rev Wright's church and Obama's wedding is probably less ghetto-like. By the way, the University of Chicago is an elite private university on the order of Stanford, Harvard, Yale. It is an oddity that it is located in the middle of a ghetto. Don't let this lead you astray: it is top notch. Many years ago it was said that there were more campus police at the University of Chicago per student than at any other university in the US. No doubt, given its location as an island of affluent students in the middle of a bad ass ghetto.

I didn't see where he did any deer hunting for those mid western slammers. Then again he bagged Mo....and she sure is well above minimum size.

If I had a butt like hers I wouldn't leave the house.

I know that's a terrible thing to say, but I said it anyway.

You are very very funny. I got a good chuckle out of that one. CI raises his last glass of the evening and toasts to tails. I better get to bed since I think I need to go hunting in the early morning since ML season has only 3 more days and then all hunting is done for the year. Just recovering from the IL trip and that long ride home. Time for ice fishing.....the real season.
