used to indoctrinate American girls into the American feminist movement, and all that it entails. I can no longer support it.

I wonder what type of addictive drug they put into those cookies. I always order them to be nice and give most away. The ones I can't stay away from are those carmel delights. Once I open the box it is doomed. Glad to say my girls are all too old for the scouts but they all were members back in the day.

the cookies are awesome. But based on the story, I can now walk away from 'em with a clear conscience. And if one of those scout leaders wants to know why, then I have a clear conscience to tell her exactly why and what she needs to do so I can once again support GSUSA.
I never had any close encountes with girl scouts, but my son was a boy scout and those popcorn sales were scams. The scouts got very little of the profit, as I'm sure the girl scouts do with the cookies. If anything, I make a cash donation to scouts during their fund raising drives.
The utter underhandedness of planned parenthood does not surprise me at all. We had an initiative up for vote here in MS recently, and there's no telling how much planned parenthood spent oppossing it. Their propaganda didn't showcase who was sending it--it always showed happy families with children and babies. They are sickening. Anyone who cannot understand why they have to hide behind lies rather than be up-front about who they are needs serious help.

My daughter is in the Brownies. We will be selling cookies early next year. I was going to ask you fellas to purchase some but now I am having second thoughts.
Well, if the Brownies are part of "Girl Scouts", I'd have an issue.
I reserve my kids' sexual education for parental instruction, and not some scumbag from Planned Parenthood with a different agenda. Want your kid growing up wondering what it's like to be with another girl ? Multiple partners at the same time ? AT HER AGE ? Don't you want your kids to be children for a LITTLE while ? These people are radicals, and they are social engineers of the highest magnitude and whether you agree with the tenets of that sort of education or not, they'll not follow YOUR timetable or methods in providing 'instruction'. I figure I'd send my kids to scouts to learn how to be scouts...to be shown life skills....to see the beneifits of being industrious and self-sufficient....to have a moral lifestyle applauded and not ridiculed.... I'd pull my kids from that sort of thing. I don't think you envisioned that when you enrolled your daughter in "Brownies" and I can't imagine a responsible parent who'd view this as an unexpected side-benefit.

Out here, the girl scouts will set up a table outside the local supermarkets and peddle cookies with their group leaders who are adults. Can't avoid 'em when it's 'cookie season'. It's hard to turn down those little smiling faces who are so eager to please their superiors, even if I buy a box and throw it out rather than eat it. These are the kinds of kids these evil bastards are indoctrinating into the radical feminist mindset and agenda. I won't say no to the kids....I'll go right up to the adult and tell 'em I used to support them...and why I will not any longer. See how that trickles up the chain of command.
This has nothing to do with Boy Scouts of America which is a separate orgainization and uninvolved in this garbage. Never saw the popcorn thing.....
The BSA popcorn sale is one mighty racket. DOn't get me wrong, the BSA does a lot of good, and stuck to its core beliefs when times were tough.
It appears that the leadership of Girl Scouts had the same strength. I've been hearing disturbing rumors, and the odd headline stating what the original linked article says for around 10 years now.
If this has truly happened, then that truly is sad. The thing is, it takes a lot to expose anything that is tied to Planned Parenthood. They hide their tracks rather well. Not their agenda, but their affiliations with many organizations are kept silent.
Planned Parenthood was promoting underage abortions for girls without their parents consent here in Wisconsin. What was even worse, was that they were getting state funding because they were providing other services that may have been beneficial. They have been cut out of Wisconsin's state funding.
It was one of the few good things my new moronic Governor has done.
like all liberal social programs and organizations, their original 'flavor' has morphed and degenerated into something that is just a bad influence on the world and hurts more than helps. I think this is generally the 'normal' effect of liberal programs anyway.... They are like an infected hooker...their disease is spread wantonly and without regard for the sensibilities of their victims who partake with a 'clear head'.
